Cleanliness Drive

Kalki Foundation, a student-led registered NGO, organized cleanliness drives, along the banks of River Ganga in Varanasi. The drives aimed to combat pollution and promote environmental conservation. The first drive laid the groundwork for the highly successful second event at Assi Ghat, where 21 dedicated volunteers collected over 50 kg of garbage. The early morning assembly at Subah e Banaras (6:30 am) ensured efficient cleanup operations. The foundation’s efforts were appreciated by locals and recognized by a military soldier, reinforcing the impact of community-led initiatives.

Achievements:

  2. Collected over 50 kg of garbage in 8-10 sacks.
