Founded on 23rd August 2023, Kalki Foundation is an ISO 9001:2015 Certified NGO established and managed by students of Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Dedicated to transforming lives and building a brighter future, the foundation focuses on empowering women, youth, and marginalized communities.

Our Works

Blood Donation Drives

12,000 people lose their lives every day due to a sheer lack of donated blood. We conduct drives in collaboration with Sir Sunderlal Hospital, IIT BHU, and Kashi Vishwanath Temple — collecting 1500+ units and saving 4500+ lives.

Haemoglobin & Blood Test Drive

In collaboration with Sir Sundarlal Hospital, we organized free Blood Group and Haemoglobin Level testing at BHU Arts Faculty. 127 students participated, receiving immediate reports and health insights from medical professionals.

Menstrual Health Drives

We organise events on menstrual hygiene awareness including the "Red Dot Challenge", poster-making competitions, and the Nukkad Natak "Chuppi pe Charcha" — distributing 2000+ sanitary pads and breaking taboos surrounding menstruation.

Cloth Donation Drives

What may be old for one can be a lifeline for another. We organise cloth donation drives to support those in need, providing warmth in harsh weather. We have distributed 1200+ clothing items to underprivileged communities.

Mental Health Drives

Mental health is one of the main concerns of Kalki Foundation. We try to voice the problems faced by people every day and remove the taboo surrounding mental health through school and university-level awareness drives — reaching 2500+ participants.

Cleanliness Drive

We have organised multiple consecutive cleanliness drives along the banks of the River Ganga in Varanasi, collecting over 350+ kg of waste. The drives aim to combat pollution and promote environmental conservation at historic ghats.

Stationery Donation Drive

We believe education is a fundamental right. Through stationery donation drives, we supply notebooks, pens, and essential school supplies to underprivileged children, empowering them with the tools they need to learn and grow.

Survey Drive

Data-driven impact begins with understanding ground realities. Our survey drives collect essential demographic and socio-economic data from underserved communities to design targeted interventions and track the effectiveness of our initiatives.

Science Festival Drive

"Make India Scientific" — a collaborative initiative with IIT BHU students at Swatantrata Bhawan, BHU. Attended by IPS Abhayanand, Padma Shri Prof. Ravindra Kumar Sinha, and leading Indian scientists, fostering scientific temperament in children.
